iCalendar Support added to our website

Our Calendar page now contains an icon to allow you to subscribe to our calendar.
If you use an electronic or online diary such as iPhone, iPod, iPad, OS X, Android, Outlook or Thunderbird/Lightning, you can subscribe to the link and have it automatically synchronised.
Here's how
Apple Devices

Open "Settings"

Open "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"

Tap "Add Account…"

Tap "Other"

Tap "Add Subscribed Calendar"

In the server field, type in the url (http://www.malboroughvillage.org.uk/ical)

Tap "next"
You might need to manually enable the subscribed calendar in the Calendar app. Open the app and tap the "calendars" button, tick the subscribed calendar and tap "done".
Google Calendar

Log into your Google Calendar

Click the twistie on "Other calendars" and choose add by url

Type in the url (http://www.malboroughvillage.org.uk/ical)

Click refresh
It takes a few moments for the calendar to pull down into Google Calendar...
Android
Your Android device will sync the entries in your Google calendar (see above)
Thunderbird/Lighning
Thunderbird with the Lightning Calendar plugin:

Right-click on the left-hand pane and choose "New Calendar"

Click "on the network" and click "Next"

Select iCalendar (ics)

Enter the url (http://www.malboroughvillage.org.uk/ical) and click "Next"

Give your calendar a name (show alarms and email are not required)

Click "Next" then "Finish"
Outlook
Outlook users should follow the instructions supplied here
