Childs Play - Donation Day

Friday 16th December is the day when those who live or holiday in Malborough can give something towards the children's play area on Malborough Playing Field. A Working Party has been set up to rejuvenate this area and we currently have £15,000 of funds allocated but we need to reach £20,000 by the end of March. This will enable us to START the first phase (there are more phases to come!).

There are collecting points around the Village:

• The Post Office (9am - 5pm)
• The Royal Oak (from 5pm)
• The Old Inn (from 5pm). 

In addition, the Meeting Room in Fore Street, Kingsbridge (11am - 3pm) have kindly offered to receive donations. 

Malborough Village Hall Annexe will be open from 2.00pm - 7.00pm to receive donations and to display the proposal schemes from a number of play equipment manufacturers. You will have a chance to discuss these schemes with members of the working party at this time. If you are able to Gift Aid your donation, this could make a significant difference to the amount of money received. Gift Aid forms will be available in your December copy of The Messenger and at the various collecting points. 

Please remember if you are gift aiding then your form should be completed and put into an envelope before popping into a collection box.
